The Vision Behind Yozu

Yozu is Asia at one table. From the wok fire of China to the street kitchens of Vietnam, the spice roads of India, the night markets of Thailand, the charcoal grills of Korea, and the sushi counters of Japan, six traditions meet under a single roof. Each dish keeps its own accent. Together they read as one menu, built to be shared.

Yozu was created in California by restaurateur Heinrich Stasiuk, and Windhoek is its second home. Born in Karasburg, Namibia, Heinrich rose to prominence in the U.S. hospitality world, where his group now operates more than 30 acclaimed restaurants and several award-winning concepts across major cities. His portfolio also includes large-scale event catering for global platforms such as Formula 1 in Las Vegas and the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Palm Springs.

Now he brings the concept home. Yozu Namibia carries the same standard that defines the brand in California, set down on Liliencron Street for Windhoek to make its own.
